So a lot has been going on in the world. The earthquakes in Japan, Haiti, Burma, Chile, and Yushu. There has been a rash of violent tornadoes. Things are slowly coming to an end here on Earth. I wish ppl could see things the way I do.
When i say the world is slowly coming to an end I'm not trying to sound crazy or anything but it's the truth. All the crazy predictions about how the world is gonna end on May 21 (now October 21) are ridiculous! I believe in one God. I know that he will be returning for his ppl. These are not just opinions they are facts. I know God is coming back for me because i read it in the bible.
I have never tried to push my religion on anybody. That is something a person has to choose for themselves. I'm always happy when a friend of mine finds the Lord. It makes me feel good inside. I wish ppl would just give Christianity a try. Ppl think its a bunch of made up stuff but its not! One day when all the Christians are taken to Heaven my God, they're gonna realize what a terrible mistake they have made.

SOPHOMORE YEAR!!!
At this point I really don't know what to say. Sophomore year has been so many things for me. I've learned a lot and I've also grown a lot. I've opened my mind to new ideas and concepts in order to understand the minds of others. I've hit some high and low points, and worked my way through everything else. I'm so glad I'm half way through high school!
At the beginning of this school year I had no idea what I was in for. I had been working hard all summer for marching band and was excited to start a new year. I was also excited that we were no longer FRESHMEN!!!
School started out good, besides the miserable heat. I was doing good in all my classes and the marching band was doing extremely well considering what we had lost the year before. I was building new friendships and repairing old ones. I was enjoying the basketball and football games and long bus rides to band competitions.
I enjoyed all of my teachers and classes. I also enjoyed meeting new ppl and gaining new friends!

BAND TRIP!!!
A few weeks ago the band went on an amazing trip to Gatlinburg, TN. We went to attend the Smokey Montain Music Festival. Both bands and the orchestra did great! It was a long drive and a lot of fundraising but it was all worth it.
The first day of the trip felt soooo long! There was so much scenery throughout the eight hour drive. When we finally got to the Dixie Stampede we were all hungry and bored out of our minds. The show, along with the food was great! It was a really good time. We finally got to the hotel and checked in. We got a few hours of free time so we decided to walk down the strip and see what Gatlinburg had to offer.
Friday was the big performance day. I just wanted to play and get it over with so we explore more of Gatlinburg. After the first performance Alaina, Kristine and I walked around and grabbed some lunch. We went back to the convention center for the Symphonic and Orchestra performances. After the awards ceremony we returned to the hotel and changed into casual clothes and once again hit the streets.
I was really sad to have to leave Gatlinburg on Saturday. Before we left we took a tore of the Smokey Mountains. It was sooo beautiful! The views were spectacular! I really want to go back sometime and get to see all of the things I didn't get to see this time!
